Move files in and out
Files move through one folder on the desktop: Chromium's Downloads folder. The Files box under the Clipboard box shows what is in it.
Send a file to the desktop
- Drop files on the Files box, or choose Send files to browser.
- Wait for the progress bar to finish. The file is now listed.
Then use it in one of two ways:
- Paste it. A file you send is also put on the desktop's clipboard. Click into a page that accepts pasted files and press
Ctrl+V. - Attach it. Use the site's upload button. The file chooser opens in the Downloads folder. Pick the file.
To paste a file that is already listed, use the copy button next to it first.
A file is never replaced. If the name is taken, the new file gets a name such as report (1).pdf.
Save a file from the desktop
- Download the file in the desktop's browser as usual. It lands in the Downloads folder and appears in the Files box.
- Choose Save next to it to save it on your computer.
Delete a file
Choose Delete next to the file and confirm.
Limits
- A file may be up to 100 MB.
- The folder shares the session's disk with the browser profile. When the disk is full, sending fails with The session's disk is full.
- Folders cannot be sent, only files.
- The Files box is shown while the session is running.
